Summer Feeding Program

Ballinger ISD will be providing a summer feeding program at the elementary cafeteria beginning Wed., May 31st and ending Thurs., June 29th. All children under 18 years of age may eat free during the program. Adults are welcome to at $3.70 a tray. Come join us daily (Mondays-Thursdays): Breakfast- 7:45am-8:15am. Lunch-11:45am-12:30pm.

Ottmers is State UIL Medalist

BHS represented at state UIL and brings home BRONZE!Zakk Ottmers double qualified for State speech and debate in Lincoln Douglas debate and Persuasive Speaking. This is the third year in a row for him to qualify in Persuasive and he placed third overall, missing second place by only one place. We are very proud of Zakk and all his accomplishment and wish him the best in his future!

Lady Cat Basketball Camp 2017
05/23/2017
Lady Cat Camp will be held Tues., May 30-Fri., June 2nd. K-4th grade girls will attend from 8am-12noon. 5th-9th grade girls will attend from 1pm-5pm. Cost is $50 per camper and includes basketball, tshirt and awards. Registration forms can be picked up at school administration office or the first day of camp. FMI: stacy.smalley@ballingerisd.net

Softball Honors announced

2017 All-District 3A Softball Honors for the Ballinger Lady Cats. Defensive MVP Honors went to senior Third Baseman Lexi Sanchez. First Team Infield Honors went to junior Short Stop Lauren Landers, which also led the Lady Cats with the highest batting average. First Team Outfield Honors went to freshman, Elyssa Korn, which had the second highest batting average and was recognized for her base running speed. Second Team Infield Honors went to our number one pitcher, junior, MaKenzey Sanchez. Honorable mention honors went to senior first baseman Jayden Hughes, senior pitcher Gabriella Cortez, junior second baseman Destiny Manley, and freshman catcher/outfielder Kaitlyn Guillen.
